Our Core Services

We support farmers through a combination of training, input access, value addition, and guaranteed off-take — with a focus on youth, women, and marginalized rural producers.

Agronomic Training

Our team of field officers and agronomists delivers practical, hands-on training in sustainable farming practices. These trainings are conducted in local languages and tailored to the realities of rural farming life.

Grain Off-Take & Market Linkages

Through our off-take model, we guarantee purchase of crops at transparent prices. We work with farmer cooperatives and buying agents to organize collection, weighing, and payment — cutting out unreliable middlemen.

Quality Input Provision

We supply certified, high-quality oilseed inputs—including sunflower and soybeans—sourced from trusted partners. These inputs are selected based on regional climate, soil conditions, and market demand to ensure optimal yields.

Value Addition & Technology Intergration

We clean, dry, grade, and process sesame and other oilseeds into high-value products like oil and cake—supporting both local consumption and export readiness.

Agroforestry & Diversification Support

Princo is piloting coffee and cocoa intercropping systems in Northern Uganda—helping farmers build long-term wealth through high-value perennial crops.

Agribusiness Consulting & Cooperative Support

We advise farmer cooperatives, NGOs, and agri-startups on inclusive agribusiness models, value chain development, financial access, and governance best practices.

Coffee farming is a long-term investment—and Uganda is rich with potential.

Uganda is Africa’s second-largest coffee exporter, yet many smallholder farmers in emerging regions lack access to quality seedlings, agronomic support, and reliable buyers. Princo Group is piloting coffee agroforestry systems in Northern Uganda, introducing shade-grown Robusta and Arabica alongside climate-smart practices, long-term training, and future export partnerships to help farmers build lasting value from their land.

Princo Group works with smallholder farmers across Northern Uganda, Teso, and Karamoja to grow high-impact crops like sesame, sunflower, soybeans, maize, coffee, and cocoa. These crops are selected for their market demand, climate resilience, and ability to improve household incomes and soil health. We provide farmers with inputs, training, post-harvest support, and market access to ensure every crop contributes to food security and rural prosperity. Our value chains are built to be inclusive, sustainable, and farmer-led from seed to shelf.

Oil Seeds

🌿 Sesame

A high-value, drought-resistant oilseed, sesame is one of Princo’s flagship crops. We support farmers with certified seeds, post-harvest tools, and reliable export markets.

🌻 Sunflower

🌱 Soybeans

Princo Group is at the forefront of promoting oilseed cultivation in Northern Uganda—particularly sesame, sunflower, and soybeans. These drought-resilient crops are well-suited to the region’s climate and have become a reliable source of income for thousands of smallholder farmers. Through training, access to certified seeds, and guaranteed off-take programs, Princo empowers farming communities to improve yields, reduce post-harvest losses, and connect directly with buyers in both local and export markets

Sunflower thrives in Northern Uganda’s dry zones and provides excellent oil yield. Princo promotes its cultivation through input access, training, and processing support.

Soybeans offer protein-rich food and livestock feed potential. Princo enables farmers to grow and market soybeans through value chain development and agronomic training.

Cash Crops (Coffee & Cocoa)

Princo is piloting shade-grown Robusta coffee in Northern Uganda. We provide seedlings, agroforestry training, and long-term support for sustainable production.

🍫 Cocoa

Cocoa offers long-term value for farmers in emerging areas. Through intercropping and climate-smart practices, Princo helps farmers build a future in cocoa.

As a staple crop, maize is key for food security and income. Princo supports farmers with hybrid seeds, harvest handling, and access to local bulk buyers.

To diversify farmer incomes and build climate resilience, Princo Group is piloting coffee and cocoa agroforestry systems in Northern Uganda. By introducing shade-grown Robusta and cocoa intercropped with legumes and native trees, we help farmers transition into long-term, high-value crops. Our programs provide agronomic support, seedlings, and market linkages—laying the foundation for sustainable livelihoods and future export potential in underutilized regions.
